Are you curious to learn about meditation with a group of young people? Are you a young adult craving a community of meditators and mindfulness practitioners that are going through similar life experiences? Want to try meditating with others?
Beginning the third Saturday in May, the IMCW-affiliated Young Adult Sangha comes to the Lamont Dharma House! Led by three facilitators, the group offers the opportunity to build a community of like-minded spiritual friends in the same time of life. We will have a guided meditation, activities to deepen our practice, and the opportunity to build connections through unguided social time at the end with tea and snacks.
The group is for anyone between 19 and 39 who wants to take part in a conscious, mindful community. The group is open to all young adults and welcomes all people regardless of heritage, sexual orientation, or disability/illness. We will meet every third Saturday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m.
The Sangha is on a donation basis, in the tradition of dana (generosity).
